This view of the 1909 copper-domed White Pine County Court House was taken ca. 1910/11. The duck pond was originally dirt bottomed. Today, the pond's size is much smaller and it is now cemented. The fountain is kept on for most of the year, even during the winter. A swan, fish and several types of ducks and geese can be enjoyed by people all year round. Photo courtesy of Sunny Martin.
