| "..The last remnants of the Cherry Creek business district before it burned down in the 1960s. I got it from Mike Solaoaga and his wife Malee who lived in Cherry Creek during the 1930s. ..The building on the left is the original Leach General Store and the one on the right was their "new" building. The old building in between was the Elk Saloon and was owned in the 1930s by Mike's father Juan Solaoaga. The bar that was inside the building is now somewhere in San Francisco.."
