Jennings | 29 y 9 mos. | Concentrator accident | Died at the McGill concentrator when a rod unhooked from the concentrator and fell, struck him on the head, knocked him off the rolls, causing him to fall and strike his head against a pulley on another set of rolls, fracturing his skull, causing death. He was a native of Illinois, resided at McGill, NV, had a wife and brother at McGill and his mother and two sisters lived in Salt Lake City, UT. McGill concentrator belonging to the Steptoe Valley Mining and Smelter Company. Company was found negligent by not providing proper appliance of safety of employee. |
